The cartoon aspect of the game definitely helps. Enough of a fresh coat of paint has been applied to make the game seem like a modern title.
The graphics look pleasing despite being an old game.
I find most of my gaming time is on this rig due to the little monkeys taking up most of my free time. It consists of old leftover parts being a i7-3820 and a 1070 hooked up to my Samsung 1080p tv. I played it on Steam on my media PC with a Steam controller, primarily used for my video library, streaming, and light couch gaming while my little chimps play. My daughter also enjoyed watching it, and would pay attention every time I turned it on. His lordship demanded I play it, and play it I did. My kid played a little bit of it, but not being used to playing with a controller and not being very experienced he had a tough time. I got it on sale for around 10 freedom dollars to entertain my son. I think it was released for the other consoles at the time, but PS2 was the dominant console during the early 2000s at least where I was. It's an upgraded version of an old PS2 game, which wasn't even on my radar back when PS2 was my gaming platform of choice.
